"A big thank you to all the people who have left such lovely messages for me over the years, here are just some of the comments you have been kind enough to leave."

Margaret from Oxford (1 February 2008)

Just arrived home after a wonderfully relaxing stay at your lovely hotel, everything was just perfect from the excellent food, beautiful very comfortable surroundings, warm caring staff and stunning views across the valley overlooking Bath. The hotel is a credit to you Sue and your team you all worked so hard to ensure myself and my family had such a restful holiday. We all look forward to a return visit sometime soon.

The Hotel Inspector
Liz from Bristol (13 February 2008)

Congratulations on turning your business around with the help of the Hotel Inspector. I loved your idea of theming each room to a literary figure - what a great touch! Just wanted to wish you all the best for the future.

James from Leicester (22 February 2008)

Wow! Your hotel is excellent. I saw it on TV on Hotel Inspector... i have to come and stay one day... it looks so nice and i'm sure it is.

Such a warm welcome!
Jane Oliver from Box (22 February 2008)

What a wonderfully warm welcome I received from Antonia. Having booked my room very late in the evening, I arrived and was greeted with by Antonia. My short but relaxing stay was superb. My room so inviting, with a welcome note and beautiful magazines to read. I wished I could have stayed longer, but at any available opportunity I will be back. Thank you so much!!

Just Seen Your Fine Establishment!
Lynda from Minden, Ontario Canada (26 February 2008)

We get Hotel Inspector here in Canada now & I was thrilled to see your delightful hotel, I am not so much a stuffed bear lover, but your hospitality Sue is worth the stay! something I would look forward to. We anticipate a trip this fall to the UK & especially to Bath, so will most definately book a stay for a few nights. Keep up the great work.

Bring back the bears!!!
Sarah, Dave & Annie from Dublin, Ireland (26 February 2008)

Hi Sue!! Just saw your hotel on the "Hotel Inspector", your house is absolutely fabulous! We loved your bears, please put them back! When we visit Bath we will definately stay with you! Perhaps consider including a euro pricelist, and bear in mind the strength of sterling in comparison to other currencies. You are a fantastic hostess and very glamourous! We were impressed with how you took Ruth's criticism's in your stride and with such grace. Keep up the good work!

Hotel Inspector on tv
Barbara Bradford from Ontario, Canada (26 February 2008)

I just watched the Hotel Inspector tv show and I am so very glad to have seen it. Your hotel is wonderful and you are a charming and elegant hostess, Sue. I love your website and all the little extras you offer, like a toothbrush if someone forgot theirs. I love the rooms and although I love love love bears, I think it would be a wonderful idea to have the bears in a bear's house for bear lovers to choose a bear to be in their room during their stay. That way the guests who don't like them won't have them and the ones who do, get to choose who they want in their room. Love it all and if I ever get to England I will definitely stay at the Tasburgh!!

Irish TV
Seamus from Dublin (26 February 2008)

Dear Sue - you may already know that the Hotel Inspector was shown on Irish TV tonight so hopefully you will be getting lots of Irish visitors as a result. Best wishes - Seamus

Hotel Inspector
John from Dublin (26 February 2008)

Just watched the program.. love the hotel & countryside. (Sorry but I'd dump the bears). I work in IT and just wondered what your website looked like..... WELL DONE ...you have a lovely personality and hope it goes well for you.

Hotel Inspector
Susan from Ireland (26 February 2008)

I am just after watching the episode of 'The Hotel Inspector' featuring your hotel. I am very impressed by the hotel itself and also the friendly staff. Sue, you seem to be a wonderful host and person! Hoping to get a chance to spend a night or two in your wonderful hotel this Summer! Best of Luck and Continued Success!!

That Foul Mouth Hotel Inspector
Mrs. Shannon from LONGFORD, Ireland (27 February 2008)

Well I have got to say, although I agreed your prices were initally a little high; I could see the effort, time and imagination that you put into it; just that I would have hoped the Hotel Inspector could have conducted herself in the same beautiful lady-like manner that you did. My goodness, didn't she have a mouth like a sewer and the fashion sense of a dinasaur; and her hair.. yours was beautifully styled! I said to my husband; I would have stayed there anyway and I'm a Bear Collector!! Yes, seriously, have collected bears all over the world, from USA to Beijing and back again and my first impression to see a bear in my room would have been one of great joy! I've never been to Bath, but I think that I will make enquiries about your hotel before I do; not only do I know that the hotel will be lovely, there's going be a bear on my bed; I love English poetry as much as our own Irish poets and the fact that you have such a lovely staff there and yourself - you indeed would be the main reason for the visit, just to say hello. I think the Hotel Inspector could learn more than a thing or two from you with regards to her conduct towards people when she meets them. She was in the presence of a Lady the day she met you; sadly you were not.. God bless you and your hotel & I wish you & your staff continued success; your future guests a wonderful stay and that everyone has the health to enjoy it.. As for the Hotel Inspector, I wouldn't allow her to set two toes into the grounds of my own home here in Ireland! I would have presented her with a bar of soap than a bear Suzanne!! Best wishes..

The Hotel Inspector
Linda from Ireland (27 February 2008)

Hello Sue have just watched the programme and I couldn't get over your hotel it looks so relaxing and you seem such a nice warm person. I disagree with Ruth I love the teddies!!! Continued success you deserve it after all your hard work. Would love to come and visit soon

THE HOTEL INSPECTOR
Mary K from Galway, Ireland (27 February 2008)

Hi Sue, Just saw "Hotel Inspector" last night. Your hotel looks very elegant and welcoming, will hope to visit in the near future. Love the literary theme. PS The euro is very strong against sterling at the moment and as a lot of irish visit the UK perhaps you could have a separate brochure/price list in euro for irish market

hotel inspector
adrienne from ireland (27 February 2008)

I was amazed at the transformation you made to your hotel. I watched it last night and if i ever visit Bath i would definately stay at the Tasburgh. You are good at what you do and congrats with all your success now, and in the future.

Jo-Anne from Ireland (27 February 2008)

Keep The Bears
Jo from Kildare, Ireland (27 February 2008)

Hi watched Hotel Inspector last evening, and having worked in hotels a great part of my life I have to say well done to you Sue for turning your business around. You are very professional, and you have a natural charm with people. You took what Ruth said, and you implemented everything but the bears, and I think you are right. KEEP THE BEARS, they tie in nicely with your literary theme.I would like to wish you every success in the future with your business, and who knows, one day I hope to visit your beautiful hotel and sample your hospitality for myself
